Updates
12th june 2009
5pm:
it's probably one of the worst packing days of all travel in my life. at 5pm i was still packing, not even near halfway through the packing. my flight is 1030pm. I have to go in around 8.30pm. CRAp.
8pm:
i can't squeeze everything in! i'm still at home?! WTh. Just sucks honestly, terrible. that's how i felt. thanks to XXX. dad couldnt make it on time to send me. Oh great, just awesome timing. Everyone left the airport waiting for me. I feel so bad..
9.30pm:
i'm hungry. damn it. i realised i havent eaten ANYTHING apart from a pathetic muesli bar. Having bought the stuffs aunt tracy wanted, changed some extra cash, FOOD. Subway. At the end of Subway i'd realised my flight was on LAST CALL. Thank god i caught it just as the gates were closing. Close Shave. Finally i felt at peace, able to breathe a little. Looking forward to what i should have been looking forward to all these while.

on board the plane:
Emirates, my first time flying with them. received really great critics from my grandma. True enough, the food was awesome, so were the steward/stewardess -handsome and pretty, INTERNATIONAl looking! The service was good also and i had ample space onboard the 6 hour flight.
6ish Australia time/ 4 ish Singapore time:
I've reached Tullamarine Airport, Melbourne. In the plane i was feeling the drop in temperature. Heard it was chilly from grandma and my aunts already. But i liked it anyway! Super excited and passed through the customs with a breeze. I was sure i looked rather trendy in my tanks and skinnies, with my denim jacket overalls travelling alone. I felt independent! love it! aunt tracy and uncle paul only reached the airport to pick me up say half an hour later and we had great breakfast at a nice cozy cafe in Balwyn, despite having filled myself quite a fair bit of food onboard. Brrrr... as i breezed through to the cafe from the parked car, i understood what they meant in their forewarnings (: FOOD. looking through the selection glass displays i'm already imagining how they would taste in my mouth. yum. haha. yayness, paradise.
Welcome to Australia, babe!
