Susan Boyle
Typical Singaporean termed auntie-sized, with average mild looks, she really amazed the judges and the audience with her unbelievable vocal projection.
Well, myself for instance was awed.
It's like another Susan that was so perfect in feel was projected out of the shell.
But of course, this is probably a solid example of the saying " Don't judge a book by its covers". What looked ordinary of not repugnant may not be what it really is inside. ie, a durian (though im not a durian fan, yet despite it's ugly spiky thorns and stinks like urgh, people still like eating their succlucent flesh. )
