Simple but cozy affair.

(Some shots from the night)
Tuesday. That's what happened when my birthday fell on a weekday that's got little or no nightlife. But well, it was a cozy affair i must say. Okay, my day started out with a swim alone. Aha since everyone's at school and i'm enjoying my covered MC today. Gee, i haven't swam since ages..SO long ago! Good to exercise on my day and it certainly feels good(: The early afternoon was spent running a bit of errands at QUeensway SHopping Centre. Got some stuffs and enjoyed the nostalgic moments at the furbished IKEA with my IKEA hotdog and the soft ice cream. Gee, the last i'd recalled having that was like 3 years ago! With my fellow

girlfriends in our trademark pinafore.By the time i got home it was nearly 6pm. Sis kinda surprised me with 12 assorted donuts from Doughnut Fac.
Dad already planned to go out celebrate at dinner. He knew i'd invited Elysa and CheeQing along. Afterall, they were my best gal buddies at STC.
Picked Elysa up at 7.30pm and we went to Ichiban Japanese Restaurant. Haha my family have a penchant for Japanese food. it's HEALTHIER too! CheeQing went home after school for a change of clothes. Sis was the only underdressed amidst the 5 of us, of course she was ranting about with her endless complaints. To add on, My dad commented we ALL looked different. He's actually watched us grow up since sec 1, at school and during CCA

.

My sis was in countennence with him, that we've certainly

changed a lot without our knowing-The 3 of us felt we're all normal and the same close old friends.
Miss Late finally came at about 9 plus. Elysa and her surprised me with a birthday cake. Well, i seriously wasn't expecting any cake this year, but the Cheesecake from Sweet Secrets was really nice i had to admit. Haha. We had warm Japanese Sake at dinner too.

My first experience for Sake, having had tried the Korean one and the usual liquors. YAY! had nice presents from CheeQing and ELysa. Ely's a good patissier chef i'm so sure! She baked the assorted cake, cookies and chocolate crunches! YUMMY! Man! Love the book and bear with pockets from Chee(: Love the other Yellow bear and the cards, etc form Sis. Lovely cozy birthday. I'm lucky, very lucky already. (:Dad suggested we go exploring the new

ly launched the Marina

Barrage@Marina SOuth. Cool site i must say! And guess what, you can go to East Coast park from the Marina Barrage! It's just beautiful, you get the scenic views there. The only setback's probably the transport over is a knotty problem. Was a long 'educational' tour there and we wanted to hit Clarke Quay or some clubs. Dad wanted to drop us off at St. James, but Elysa says it may not be opened. With no possible nightlife on Tuesday, we had to go home, sent CheeQIng and Elysa home. But of course Elysa vouched to go make it up another night! Whee!
CHERIE Loves you lots!
