The Calm Before the Storm
Indeed, i cannot take it anymore. The nightly fevers, the sore and swollen jaw and throat, neck. The pain. Woke up like at 7.30am this morning to get to NDC at 8.30am to sit in for walk in consultation. Though they made me go to quite a few places before they finally led me to see the dental surgeon himself. Took the dental x-ray but i was so afraid that we will be over-exposed esp in the eyes to an increased chance of cataracts(based on what we learnt from radiation protection), i tried to ask for lead goggles. lol Obviously they had none of such. The radiographer assured me somewhat but i wasn't much convinced but there wasn't much of a choice. Risked it anw.
Awesome x-ray of my own jaw. Mwahaha..Saw the 4 wisdom tooth in my mouth, one was so nicely positioned(lower right), one was angled therefore the infection(lower left), one of the 2covered ones at the top was angled out--possible problem in the future, the other was okay. Doc advised me to remove all together since they were quite useless anyway. Surgery was scheduled tomorrow morning. I'd asked for today itself but it was kind of late to rush everything, so earliest possible is tomorrow. I'm looking forward, yet dreading it at the same time..looking foward to the liberation of my fever etc misery; dreadful to the whole hoo-ha about surgery with General Anesthesia involved ( i mean, i am curious to it), yet i am afraid the pain from the aftermath will be terrible. SOmebody just kill me willl do. Definitely prefer short direct blow to a painful one. Haha. But then again, tomorrow shall be another NEW experience. And of course it means lots to catch up at school :( I won;t be able to sleep tonight, i'm quite sure and i have to like, FAST...cannot eat anything tomorrow onwards..slimming regime? Sounds good? Haha*bitterly.
