summary and quick updates
WOW, it's been two weeks into my clinical attachments marking the end of the first half of my first clinical block at SGH. I daresay, it was one worthwhile and rewarding experience! SO fast, after we started to familiarise with the place and people, making friends and interaction with the patients, there's a degree of longing. Words cannot exactly express how grateful and enlightened i was from the experience. Simply awesome! Just that instead of practising what i have learnt at sch (upper extremities), i was posted to the rooms for lower extremities and did the x-rays from what i observed and learnt on the spot from the seniors. Amazing, but it seems like i am quite 'well-trained' from it now, esp the knee packages, foot ankle and spines...hmmm...lol.
Come next week, i shall be going to TTSH...urgh pray that i get to complete my dang competencies by then. Keep sane, cherie! Happy birthday grandma!
