Stardust
Stardust made me forget about the angst i felt from the exams. It is still inevitable that i may recall that angst sometime in the future, but it's certainly a great fantasy and fairytale to grow into.
Charlie Cox is cute, only when he's got that new haircut and a sudden growth of hair. His new image with that mane of his makes him look gentle and chivalrous. Carrying his large quite brown eyes, at certain angles he takes on the looks of orlando bloom. However in the movie itself, i believe many will see him as a handsome innocently humorous character that somewhat make him attractive. perhaps that dull white trenchcoat helps bring his charm as his charater Tristan, a boy fresh from boyhood and innocent with that sense of humour not many cherishes.
In all, he certainly has succeeded and improved in his acting, especially in the likes of old England set films. That's what makes an Englishman attractive, isn't it? Their rich heritage, though sometimes not as as rich as the French. (= The Billy goat's rather funny too, not to forget, the ghost princes and the Captain! Yvaine did not appeal attractive enough but her character made her look good, much better than the eye candy Victoria (Sienna Miller) and also compatible to Tristan with recruitted love. Tristan's Mother, Una looked young, and very pretty. My sister was commenting she could have taken the role of Yvaine. But i thought otherwise for Dane's haughtiness as the Star that was quite suitable for the role instead. Of course it also encompasses comedy in it: the ghosts, the old wall guard, captain...go watch it urself for a good laugh and climax!
A beautiful fantasy.
