in lieu of tuesday
The post is in lieu of Tuesday. Had wanted to blog that night but fell asleep, haha.
The end of Chemistry paper 3 on Monday left me pretty upset, especially when i'd left blanks somewhere in my scripts. Devastated, especially when i finally get to flip my friend's notes by chance two days later and found the exact anwer for my environmental chem which i didn't study but guessed my way. It was quite off. As if all damages were not enough, i didn't get to finish the front 3 qns which i knew how to do but simply cant finish due to short of time. Totally devastated, best expression to describe how i feel especially when my A just fell through my fingers with the sand. No one but myself to blame.
Maths paper 2 on Tuesday was an amazing paper. For a 3 hour paper, i finished it within 2 hours. Sounded like the Amaths paper O levels, a 2 hour paper and i finished in one. It was an amazingly smooth paper and i got on to the last question with much ease ( but wouldn't exactly guarantee that i'd gotten everything right ) But it was definitely one paper that made me feel good, with an hour to read through everything (hopefully that one hour was well spent, though i'm sure i got the first qn wrong since i simply forgotten how to solve it-a 3 mark qn ).
That night on tuesday, went hom to catch my breath while waiting for Cheese to finish bathing. We met out late at Vivo, got some pasta to share at Pasta Mania and then a booze each. Found a nice spot and chatted along with the booze. Speaking of our spot, it was like the best spectators area for a pair of lovers who frenched kissed twice before us with lots of twistings. I'm not sure if there were any moanings but the view was traumatising enough. To add on each lasted for quite a period of time. I had lots of blush on my face, not from the booze nore from the spectacular 'views'. Rather they were generated from over-laughing at cheese. My dad offered to give us a lift home-it was past midnight. So we were in a mad rush to get to the agreed pick up spot, cutting through the mall was one thought. So we wanted to crash thru thru mall. Cheese banged at the glass swing doors thinking it might be open still, for movie goers. Apparently she failed in her attempt and rebounded with the same amount of force she exerted. I burst out laughing. It was sooooo funny you should hear the sound effect. We laughed so hard my watch kinda broke- i think i hit it against the wall or sthg. I think the security saw us, and signalled to us that it was locked. So we had a night run through the corners and bends roung vivo and finally got there. Told my dad bout Chee's stint and he couldn't believe his ears. (My dad's spontaneous to keep on cool terms with us. Even join us in singalongs, yea, he's that mad but cool dad! ) Now we've earned the title what he calls "blind bats", as what he claims blind bats like us barge into anything w/o looking..=.= But of course, shall get started again, 4 more papers to go. Chemistry and Physics..2oth nov, here i come!
