Whoops. It's my last day working in this engineering company now. It's just our adaptability that one can get used to the environment, so comfortable that when it's time to leave, there's a certain sour longing feeling to everything that's been like the norm for the past 2 months. Every single corner of the office seems to carry some form of significance to my stint there. Two months ago i was bawling my eyes out, ok maybe not bawling but being defiant against the idea of working here because of the meagre pay. Morever the Japanese boss was a friend of my Dad's, but thanks to my dear daddy who told him it's alright to pay me as the usual temp staff, i had to go along with the pay then. At the beginning i was adamant and rather stubborn, you could say still quite rebellious. But being Daddy's girl, i relented and took up the job as suggested. It was awkward at first, especially on the fist day at work, surrounded by uncles because my only other female colleage was on leave that day. But it felt interesting to be the only flower amidst the forrest of thorns.. >.< haha, ok, frances if you're reading this i probably heard ur laughter.
Anyway, from the second day onwards, after the brief and whimsical introduction, we became rather close friends despite our age gap. Surprisingly we can get along so well, i guess it's pretty amazing. Being the youngest in the office sometimes plays at an advantage to my side. Because of my juniority, the older dudes kinda 'pamper' me. Haha. But i kinda enjoyed bringing about laughter, enjoyment and smiles to everyone with my supposed-joker antics labelled by frances. In the office, my juniority also brought about many nicknames that brought in even more laughter and jest. Dear big sister frances took really good care of me, helping me stay out of trouble and danger. I guess after i leave in 5 minutes time, she'll miss me and my lively laughter in the dead office. The cleaning auntie too, i'll miss both of them too. They're like the only other females in the office premise. Speak about ladies, we're united, against any male chauvinists! (=
Anyway, hope to keep in touch with the other ladies in honour at the office still! Yea, frances, do take note here and hope you'll continuing keeping in touch at the very least via here. Do leave a tag to let me know you've been here so that i can relay messages to both u n auntie there(= Do take care then! *Dong X 5* it's 5 pm. time for me to leave..goodbye, all..
