Aye, i'm back to blog. Had wanted to blog yesterday night but put off the job and did something else instead. Yes, what comes next regards yesterday's outing, a summarised one actually. (=
With the New year's Eve outing cancelled, it was postponed to New Year's Day outing instead. It was a pretty good one, definitely nice to hang out with friends on the first day of a brand new year. And so we went for Kbox, Klunch session in the late morning at Cineleisure. Well, as usual i nearly overslept hence i only managed to grab some clothes into the bathroom for a quick bath before dashing out without breakfast. Say, though i stayed home on New Year's Eve while others revelled in countdown parties, i had a few bottles of Bacardi Breezers with Daddy and sis and of course, turn in late resulting in the late rising the next day. My best friend had hangover last night and could not join us until later in the afternoon. Had some fun singing and merry making in the room with all 8 of us, i was surprised but happy the guys were there too. By 2pm, the automated system of Kbox in Cine turned us out by shutting their songs out on us. Impressive, in comparison to the frequent chasing by Kstaff at other K branches like TPY's. We set on a long relaxed walk towards the Esplanade after Klunch. It was warm and i was burning in my jeans under the scorching sun but i wasn't too bothered. Da Jie, Siao mei and i sat by the huge Merlion sculpture and took in the scenery. It has been a long time since we three sat together as sisters there. Definitely memorable. I was eager to snap up some photographs on camera with my new batteries. Before long, my Cheese came, haha quite apologetic to wake her up from her hangover but she had to bring some stuff. Haha, and so we were getting on 'high' and trotted off to suntec for AJ's tutu kueh. I recalled how my grandma loved to buy those to share with me when i stayed with my grandparents in AMK. Well, it was a lazy afternoon with disillusioned plans where we stranded around. After Da jie and Siao Mei left for their cousin's 21st birthday bash, AJ, Ivan, Cheese, myself and Jas went down for Subway dinner while waiting for Zejia and Genie's return. Gosh how i love Subway, i can eat it everyday! The plan was to watch "The Curse of the Golden Flower" but i didn't feel like staying out late that night so Cheese and i didn't join the others for the movie. Instead, we went shopping in Carrefour. Haha, amazing how we best friends enjoy shopping in supermarkets(= She found the things she needed to get and i found mine. It was a pleasure to walk around and see those supermarket products stacked high up the shelves, and to discover new updated products on sale. We caught the shuttle bus not because we were lazy but out of pure convenience, well it was there waiting anyway. I believe we definitely have our little way of enjoyment to kill boredom and time as we snapped up pictures together with funny faces on the bus, and relaxed while the ride took us under bright intriguing lightings before reaching Cityhall MRT. Thing either occur as mere coincidences or we're just fated to experience them: we seem to always have to run for our buses when we are out together.
In retrospect, such experiences were rather fun in a way too. The cheap thrill of chasing for the buses allowed us to relinquish previous gruelling trainings that trained on our stamina and speed. Breathless we might be, we've gain the fun together. haha, mom was surprised i returned home early with my sister's Auntie Anne's Parmesan Cheese pretzel. *shrugs* Sounds like a pretty nice way to spend new year? Cheer to 2007.
