Yep, basically the previous post was meant for yesterday's---4th November supposedly in the wee hours, the clock setting's off.

Anyway, back from my rendezvous from the 4th November 2006. This year's birthday was cool, full of surprises which touched me, which made me feel loved by people i love. Perhaps i've never felt so loved before until this 18th Birthday. Initially, due to my fever i wasn't entirely looking forward to this day. BUt my heart warmed when some pple actually remembered my birthday and became the first and second pple to wish me on this special day. I didn't expect S to wish me or even remember, but he DID! i was touched indeed. cool dude there but he was second, behind Zebra who wished on msn, first on the list(= Ha! Thanks to both! On waking up the very day in the morning, upon switching my phone on, msg alerts erupted before i can silence it. It was abrupt but it felt good, frankly. So to speak, it meant that people remembered me, people cared and i felt happy. Msges from my classmates: Val, SY, YM, LW, geez! Nice people there--Thanks! Then later on in the day, more came. Even my cousin who used to forget, remembered this year! All the more i was touched! Met up with RX as usual, found out Mac's ent ctre was packed so changed location to the fork and spoon. Found a corner which i never knew existed and settled down. My Godsisters and brothers-Cheryl, Meryl and Daryl came. For once i found it strange why Daryl, who finished his PSLE would want to study out with us. haha.. Next naughty Meryl tugged at me to go to the washroom with her. I believed her which Cheryl helped me plead RX to lend me his file. When we came back, i nearly fainted. It was surprise! Zebra, Genie, Jasmine and everyone else stood around with a lighted Tiramisu cake. I was totally dumbfounded, and definitely touched. Obviously i was speechless, yet at the same time unknown to how i should react to such a pleasant surprise i'd never had before. I mean never such with friends before, but definitely had such with the extended family. I nearly cried out, but perhaps i was still suffering from shock, i stood there, rooted, stunned. Apparently RX looked stunned also. But he's nice to help me out. Obviously he din remember, probably abashed too. Let's hope this is just a wild guess. Nonetheless, it was really really nice of them, ALL( i shall humbly name them: Cheryl, Meryl, Daryl, RX, Zebra, Genie, Jas) to prepare with effort and possibly lots of trouble. THANKS!! Being the "birthday girl" i was to cut and serve the cakes to all. I like that, in fact i had to do that every year when young with my extended family(= They really make me feel i hav another family, family made up of friends. That thought really warmed my heart. Ha, then, all thanks to dear Genie who suggested smashing the cake my face, Cheryl used the cake to draw on my poor face*sobx*

There were lots of fun and laughter, definitely enjoyable when everyone's smiling and being gail. Love them all loads. But being sick, zebra who happend to be also sick, became like the big brother and ordered us to grab something to eat for lunch, especially when poor both of us had to take medicine for fever :S Poor me right, still sick on my birthday, nonetheless all the merry things kept my sickness away, at least for a while(= I had to leave at 3.30pm for my Grandma's place. I promised her i'll drop by and visit her, especially i want to celebrate my birthday, though not wholly but at least half a day would be nice. Went over to Yishun, though of buying strawberries over from the Cold Storage. Couldn't find any sadly. So i went to grab a few sushi and kuehs that she loved to eat from bengawan. The plan was we have dinner out, but it turned out we had it indoors, at home. Andi was the chef, of course under the Grand Master Chef''s supervision(= It was nice, fun and we had loads to chat about, lots to laugh about. It always fascinates me how i can communicate so freely and happily with my grandma than with anyone in my family. She seems to share a bond with me that's so deep nobody can penetrate or break. I've never done that to Mom before, not to Dad though we may be friends as well as parent-child. haha. Found out my sis had another surprise for me back at home. She's sweet enough to pester my Mom who grudgingly bought a birthday cake for me. Ok perhaps she didn't grudgingly but well thanks to both for the nice thought. I err, got home around near 11pm and lighted the cake, blew and ate with my sister. Had a game of speed with her and opened my presents. Thanks SY for your cute frame with that meaningful note! Hmm amazes me how my sister actually (chong2 bai4) me being a normal person. Oh well. On the train back i was coughing so badly with difficulty breathing i thought my asthma was back! I am still coughing my guts out, now. Sighs! Yay!it was enjoyable, for my 18th. The memorable. (=
