On wednesday..
How comfortable it really was to be able to sleep soundly without anything on my mind. Neither worries nor anxiety on the exams the next day, no rush to wake up. Just, slumber away. However, I can’t slumber my way today, this morning, for I’m meeting up with Valerie and darling at Suntec City to watch a movie, The Banquet to be exact. I’ve heard quite a lot of review on that show hence my anticipation to watch it. (I shall elaborate on the movie and my conclusion at the end of this post)
So after the movie we went down to the Subway at the Basement for lunch and moved on to snap up beautiful floral arrangements around the convention hall that housed the IMF and World Bank delegates recently. It was really nice, frankly speaking a variety of colours, some which are rare in Singapore seemingly a bed of beautiful flowers. The three of us went about to pose with the lovely scenery around us, with some portraying as if we were really lying on a flowerbed in the hills. We even chose and plucked a flower (shhhh…) of our preference to put on our hair where we snapped up pictures looking, innocently demure. (eh dun puke k we’re nice). Then we came across this dead cockroach by the side (小强) and laid our individually plucked flower down for it.(Yucks though) . Val had to go off first so darling and I walked her to the bus stop before walking back and continued our window-shopping. Bought quite a lot of stuffs along the way, not to forget the beautiful toe ring we chose for ourselves. Seems like every time we go out together, we’ll get something in common (= Love darling to pieces. Haha..
Then I had to rush home to attend a wedding dinner with my Daddy. Well it’s my Daddy’s friend who’s getting married. Yep that PC-prodigy who takes care of my PC’s health. Haha, it was nice, and according to what my dad says the restaurant served great Sharks Fin and basically the foods good. So I guess it’s not to bad as well. Since exams are over for now, I helped myself to 2and a half glasses of red wine there. Apparently even before I drank that my daddy already commented my cheeks were rosy so he could not pinpoint me that I turned red from drinking. But he was surprised at how well I can hold my liquor, apparently since I first tried my first sip of wine at pri 4. But I was more or less bored out there, nothing much there except the nice ambience and the classy wedding arrangements. Loved the rose and floral arrangements. Wanted to blog last night but was too lazy to start anything. Argh! My healing hands TV show ended L was commenting how kor (STBE) and a classmate looked like 2 of the doctors in the show.lol.
