A rare update

Yes, as my title suggests, this is a rare update. Ever since a week ago that stupid blogger could not publish my 6-paragraph heartfelt entry due to its technical faults, i have decided to stray away from blogging for a while, though i still surf blogs and sign into blogger. Perhaps my laziness also played counterpart to my entry absence.

A little update here and there, i begin fresh anew with the enjoyable and relaxing day out with Zebra, Cheryl, Genie, Dao Gu(Jas), AJ, Fat Cat(JW-ps). A sunny morning it was, wait or did it rain in the morning. Nvm, but i met up with Genie, Dao Gu and Zebra at TPY at about 2pm but errr..due to some unforseen 'circumstances' i was duely late but managed to locate the threesome in the MacDonalds in one part of the town centre. Dao Gu was revising and doing her chem work while i, on Maths. Had to leave for schoool in the afternoon around 3.30pm for my school's PTM dang. Urgh..gonna get hell. Anyway, i managed to smuggle myself into the Audi hall for the PTM in my huge CJC jacket coz i wasn't in proer school uniform. I was in a top and jeans. Lol. Dad was cool, he met me at the foyer and we went in together. Gosh, he's such a buddy!(=

Anyway, after PTM, Dad left i went back to Dao Gu's and the rest. Genie left shortly but will be back for the movie with us in the evening. We had wanted to watch the Lakehouse and kinda procrastinated in buying our tickets earlier, thinking that few people will watch due to it's average critics. By the time Zebra and i got to the theatres at the counter, we realised the only seats left were the separated front row seats. It was horrid and we could not bear to let our poor necks suffer before the huge screen that can result in a poor impression of the movie on us. Therefore we decided to find other alternatives. Cheryl came down from Sentosa but happened to be on her way to meet us. We got her to check out Lido for 6 tickets while both of us check out cathay. Funny thing we did on the busy stretch of orchard linking to Plaza Singapore. Snaking between and through the thick moving crowds, we seemed to be racing against time and competing with each other to get to out destination first. What interesting form of exercise and game we had. Luckily to a certain extent that the 'exercise' got terminated when Cheryl called to inform of the availability of tickets at Lido,7.30pm. What relief we heaved out upon hearing of that piece of news. Met Cheryl at HMV after her purchase of the 6tickets. Yep, Apparently, AJ and JW decided to join us altogether. Next came the wave of madness and insanity in the print shop in HMV. the 3 Ps will know what happened in there..*giggles*

By the time we came out of HMV, we realised we were late. So another wave of 'exercise' was executed except this time we have an extra participant. By evening the sticky crowd grew even more intensely such that with all the sudden brakes and slippings through them, we were perspiring in a happy way.lol. Managed to get there the Subway before Genie, AJ and JW. Hastily bought our healthiest fastfood dinner,we got in only to realise that the movie started a while ago. Not that we were sore about being late but the fact we had wanted to watch the movie from the very beginning. Well, i thought it was quite paiseh having to move to our seats in the dark before some other viewers hehind us--for blocking their views and making quite an amount of noise on our food unwrapping. Zebra was asking for a tight slap or a cheeky poke when he tried to alter the seating arrangements. *pokes at u*

The movie was, rather under-developed, which i found it slightly disappointing. Besides it's like very rare that i ever go watch such romance movies. In fact, i wanted this movie to reduce me into a tearful kid/wreak but it didn't. It was beautiful, especially the glassy lakehouse which i wish i ever get to live in and the sensible dog...But sometimes we question ourselves in what we see. Will such fantasy actually happen in reality? I wonder.

What is it like to wait? Indeed we wait almost any other time; waiting for time to pass to wake up, waiting for the bus, waiting for the teacher to come, waiting for everything. At times we complain for the long wait, but they come and pass and are often short-termed kind of waiting. Imagine having to wait for your right partner. How will it feel like or be like to wait for that time to come. Perhaps some may just need to wait a few years, others mayb a whole ten years even a whole life. Like in Kate's and Alex's case, their worlds differ by 2 whole years. To some 2 years may be nothiong but to them it meant their future, it meant a lot. If Alex did wait, i wonder how the dinner with Kate 2 years later was like. Will waiting really make such a difference? Perhaps it will, affect especially the fate?

The ending was...expected as of our hope that Keanu Reeves will survive and thus disappointing. After movie, we moved on to the wheelock's coffee bean at the back to chill out a bit. Wonderful night out which made me refreshed. It suddenly dawned on me that i have not had such decent nightlife for a long long time with a bunch of fun people other that the MAD and ASAP outings in the past. The game was not too bad and lots of revealations and facts were revealed. *flashes a cheeky grinx* I walked home that night alone after convincing the guys to stay with Cheryl for company. It was really nice to walk or simply stroll home at night, where it was kinda peaceful and cool. Perhaps even perfect to sort out pressing or mild thoughts. That night simply ended off nicely and i enjoyed it!

Ha! this outing was held last week on saturday the 29th July! (=Alrights, i m feeling lazy now. shall stop here and resume the life-drawing work. till then!
