Sunday 19th March 2006------A day out with old folks

Yea manz..was so tired yesterday night i couldn't blog ok so i shall erm blog about yesterday:D

Ok Basically yesterday was an all-fun-free-from-sch related stuff day.:D Haven't felt so relaxed and quite happy for some time. Ok la..the activities itself not say very fun, but it was the meeting up and making friends part that was fun:D

Basically, my 'Sis' also named Cheryl, got me to join her n some friends to volunteer for an old folks home outing. Well, it's to do something for a good cause why not? Besides, i do have SOME time now, still:D Met the others at Toa Payoh Interchange and we took a truck to the old folk's home at err Aljunied i think..lol. Oh Cheryl got her 'younger brother' , ayear older than me ( i was her 'sister')--by the name of RX and her friend CurtBeth ( i think spelt like this) , her real blood sister Meryl and some little cousins-gosh they were so cute:D

Yea it was fun making new friends, AND meeting up with Cheryl and catching up with her(=
ERrr..we went on to proceed with the old folks on a visit to Botanical Gardens. Yea..well it was one gr8 trip for me since the last timei visited was when i was errr in pri 5? Of us youngsters there, nearly everyone got something to do, except Rx and I; not counting the kids they had none though..lol

So we just hung around, helping wherever we're needed and got into some conversations and joking around. Yea he's nice..and funny, smart guy also.. OOh and i had a kinda close-up with real swans..lol well i haven't seen one on close up since..i dun rmb when too..lol..oops..anyway yea they're graceful, i'm just amazed how they can bend their necks so flexibly; nvm and i caught sight of a junior Kingfisher in bluish coat. Awesome and beautiful. Enriching trip heh. was one great workout-stroll too.

Oh before we knew it, we're already back at the home, free to go. But we ended up taking refuge at Cheryl's place and dinner at her hse's nearby hawker centre. Back at her place, we err toyed with her prized hamster for a while before settling down for Sky High before the TV screen.lol..Not bad show..Oh i also watched Howl's Moving castle! Wheee...nice! but i still think Spirited Away nicer leh..lol. In fact i thnk i will watch it a couple of times like i did for Spirited Away(= Yea i guess that's about it lor for the day. But i really felt relaxed..a totally unstressed mind:D tata for yesterday then!
