Memorable...
It was a solemn New Year's Day countdown.How can it be a happy one?when the Tsunami waves had claimed so many lives,broken up so many families..
Nonetheless,at MAD at Orchard Park,i felt the warmth,the essence which makes one happy inside out..I just came back from the camp-over...
It was pouring since morning,but we still went on to East Coast Park to roller blade.Yes,we were drenched,thoroughly.by 9-10am,those present included:CheeQing,Me,Bing En,Jeremy,Pei Pei,HweeSian,Reeza. Syahrul and Barry came late..I owed Mas an apology though..*oops*heehee..And so we rented the blades at $6 for 2hs..CheeQing's recommendations;).Rain poured hard onto us,but it felt good though..I had about 4-5 falls,all on my poor bum and back..yes,*Ouch*
Barry smart sia,rented a bike on his way over.Nonetheless,halfway through,i switched my blades with Barry.Haha,all of us had a couple of good laughs at Barry who claimed he can blade well.*pst*he fell dunno how many times,a few in the bushes too;)Very funny.We did enjoyed ourselves very much,despite the painful bumps we suffered.
We all went on to my another sis,Pei Pei's place for a bath off our wet clothes since it's just round the corner.Gee,we all had a bit of the kuehs from her friendly mom and by the time we were ready to head for MAD..it was like 2pm..we ran late..lolx.Finally after some bus and train journey,we reached our destination.Some other stuffs happened but i shan't go into the details..Shall jump on to the evening period.
By evening,it was still raining.But,gradually,it stopped.The crowds began to pour in,along with some gangs of Blangadeshis..*eeks*
As i had mentioned,this year's New Year's eve's not expected to be fun,due to the natural disaster-Tsunami tidal waves,earthquakes..During the last few minutes of 2004,i went up with Pei Pei,Hwee Sian,Cheryl, and the rest upstage hands clutching a white lighted candle to pray along with the crowds off stage below for the Tsunami-victims.
Some B's went on spraying others with foams-"snow" and others with the stringcream thing.EEks..The air was filled with the stench of the aerosol vapours..such that Bing En puked upon sprayed and 'attacked' by the B's..*Gee,that did mark something in Bing En's 2005 life--1st thing done in 2005-puke..lolx*grinx*
After that we went on to weatch National Treasure as a whole big group of MAD pple.It wasn't very nice though,boring i'd say.Before we knew it,6am came and some of us went home,after snapping up some shots together:)One nice shot we took..there were CheeQing,Me,Pei Pei,HweeSian,Jeremy.Bing En,Barry,Reeza,Teddy(Wilson)...and more..it was a heart-warming event:)
Right..shall go on to sleep now..exhausted indeed,but a beautiful experience..
