A great ending of our secondary education....
It's past midnight,3.30am.I just got back home at this wee hour,having had much fun at the prom with my other friends.remember the previous entry yesterday i was preparing to go join my friends at the hotel.Yes,they stayed at the Hotel Royal (i dunno what name exactly actually) in town and well,it was nice,imagine 11-12 people altogether in a room.Haha...girls' gala night in a hotel room! Yep,by the time i got there,it was 6 and we got cracking up to get changed immediately.Some were already putting make ups.Haha,by 6 45pm or so, we were off to the Tanglin Town Club erm,the ballroom?yea, and we went there on foot.Those people at the nearby bus stops and roads must have found us a 'free show' .Well,i supposed it is somewhat not a common sight to have girls dressed up in formal dresses and stuffs,sashaying past.We did have pairs of eyes on us during our trip over.
The place was finely furbished.Very beautiful and warmly welcoming indeed.The faint orange glow in the interior of the entrance made everything seem so grand,yet nolstalgic and homely,like we've stepped into a place in England?on a snowy cold day? or Britain. With that great christmas settled in the middle ground at the entrance, i almost felt as if i've been to England or Britain for my white christmas!Lolx.Alright, in the dining room, it was quite a spectacular sight! There was a jazz stage with many rows of tables for us diners.Then there's food served in silver wares,as well as an area for steak on wagon.Cool!Almost immediately when the DJ in charge announced that the buffet starts, a long beeline was made by everybody.We decided to stay put ast our table on seeing that there was a large crowd and the fact that we didn't want to squeeze in to fight for food with the others.Haha..Anyway,the dinner was fabulous and extremely filling.However,our dinner this time ended at about 10.30pm,and we dance on the dance grounds.Whoa..havoc man,some of my friends were really good dancers!!
Our group left shortly after the events and headed back to hotel,with plans to catch a midnight horor movie:The Shutter.Too bad the one at Lido was sold out..Awww...At cine there wasn't that show.So had to got to Plaza Singapura (GV) for the one at 1.50am this morning.Since i wasn't legally allowed by mom to stay over, the latest i have to get home is 3.30am,before she wakes up.But if i watched the show along with the rest at 1.50am,i;d beVERY late for it'll end at 4am..So sadly,i had to give that a miss.My another friends was sick ,down wif flu,so she had to go home and rest.Haha...okies..think my hair's dry by now.I shall stop here and go to bed NOW.Phew..i'm so exhausted.Dog-tired!Ta~ta!
